Idea Screening Questions
- When evaluating product ideas and deciding which are worth pursuing the product manager should ask these questions:
- Is the technology ready for this product idea?
- Will the product actually work?
- Does the product idea fit into the company's product strategy?
- How does this product idea fit into the product portfolio?
- Does the rest of the product team think this is a good product idea?
- Is the product idea compelling to our target customer?
- Will this product idea succeed against the competition in the market when it ships?
- Is the product idea worth money?
- Can this product idea become a whole product?
