• Questions to ask a potential distributor regarding their facilities and equipment include:
  • Are they willing to carry an adequate supply of spare parts?
  • Do they have adequate warehouse facilities?
  • How do they control their inventory?
  • Does they use computers?
    • Are their computer systems compatible with yours?
  • What communications facilities do they have?
    • Electonic mail
    • Telephone
    • Fax
    • Etc.
  • Do they have qualified people, facilities and equipment to service your products?
    • If not, are they willing to acquire the needed equipment and get the necessary training?
      • Who will pay for and provide the training?
      • Who will pay for and provide the needed equipment?
