Quality In The Automotive Industry
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is a quality framework of procedures and techniques used for developing new products in industry, particularly the automotive industry.
- Its purpose is "to produce a product quality plan which will support development of a product or service that will satisfy the customer."
- The process is described in the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) manual 810-358-3003.
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is deployed in five concurrent and collaborative phases.
