Prepare
- Do your research before the meeting.
- Find out all you can about the attendees.
- Names
- Titles
- Points of view
- Interests
- Etc.
- If your views are likely to meet strong resistance then:
- Identify your opponents.
- Prepare to negotiate a compromise.
- Prepare the content of your presentation.
- State you meesage in terms your audience can relate to.
- It is more effective to:
- Communicate your message first.
- Then present supporting facts.
