Export License

• Many countries have laws and regulations that control exports and restrict:
  • What you can export
  • Animals
  • Archeological artefacts
  • Chemicals
  • Radar systems
  • Software
  • Where you can export to
  • Friendly countries
  • Military allies

• In order to export your product you have find out if you need an export license.
  • The exporter must determine which government entity has jurisdiction for the items being exported.
  • The exporter must request and receive authorization to export.
