- Those that buy because of performance.
- They want the highest functionality irrespective of the price.
- Those that buy because of price/performance.
- They want the highest value.
- Those that buy because of price.
- They want to lowest price.
- They also want "good enough" functionality.
- Product lines exist to support the types of buyers.
