When To Conduct Useability Testing
- Test early and test often.
- The earlier the problems are found and fixed, the less expensive the fixes are.
- Useability testing should be considered an iterative process.
- The more you test and change based on what you learn, the more confident you can be that the product will meet the users' needs when it is launched.
- Unfortunately, useability testing generally occurs near the end of the new product development process.
- When there is something functional enough to test and evaluate.
- This is when problems are fixed.
