When To Conduct Useability Testing

• Test early and test often.
  • The earlier the problems are found and fixed, the less expensive the fixes are.
  • Useability testing should be considered an iterative process.
    • The more you test and change based on what you learn, the more confident you can be that the product will meet the users' needs when it is launched.

• Unfortunately, useability testing generally occurs near the end of the new product development process.
  • When there is something functional enough to test and evaluate.
  • This is when problems are fixed.
