Character Styles

Now that we have learned about line separators, which separate text between lines, let us take a look at a category of body tags which modify character styles. In this chapter we will learn about:

The <PRE> tag, or preformatted tag.
The <BLOCKQUOTE> tag, which is used for quoting a block of text.
The <ADDRESS> tag, which is used to indicate an electronic mail address.
The <H> tags, or headings tags.
Logical character highlighting tags.
Physical character highlighting tags.
