  • Symmetric, which is also known as private key encryption.
  • Asymmetric, which is also known as public key encryption.
• A digital signature is an encrypted message digest.
• A message authentication code is different than a digital signature.
• What is a certifying authority.
• The contents of digital certificates.
• What is a man-in-the-middle attack.
• Diffie-Hellman key agreement is a widely used key agreement protocol.
