What Is Useability
- ISO 9124-11 defines useability as the extent to which a product can be used by specified users to achieve specified goals with effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction in a specified context of user.
- Useability is not only a property of the product itself; useability is a property of the entire system, which includes:
- The product.
- The user.
- The user’s goals.
- The context of use.
- Useability measures the quality of a user's experience when interacting with a product.
- How well users can learn and use a product to achieve their goals.
- How satisfied are users with the process.
- How easily can users to accomplish their tasks.
