- In order to recruit participants, useability test plan should state early on when the test will occur.
- Be specific about the schedule.
- Indicate how many sessions you be held in a day.
- Allocate time between sessions to:
- Reset the environment.
- Briefly review the session with observers.
- Take care of personal needs.
- Indicate exactly what times the sessions will start and end.
- An useability test session should not take all day.
- It tires the participants.
- Participants also need to know where the useability test will take place.
- Choose a location that is easy for the participants to get to.
- Difficult locations cause participants to arrive unhappy and stressed.
- Long commute.
- Bad traffic.
- Cannot find a parking space.
- Give the participants a clear map with directions to the test site.
