Schedule And Location

• In order to recruit participants, useability test plan should state early on when the test will occur.
  • Be specific about the schedule.
  • Indicate how many sessions you be held in a day.
    • Allocate time between sessions to:
      • Reset the environment.
      • Briefly review the session with observers.
      • Take care of personal needs.
  • Indicate exactly what times the sessions will start and end.
    • An useability test session should not take all day.
      • It tires the participants.

• Participants also need to know where the useability test will take place.
  • Choose a location that is easy for the participants to get to.
    • Difficult locations cause participants to arrive unhappy and stressed.
      • Long commute.
      • Bad traffic.
      • Cannot find a parking space.
    • Give the participants a clear map with directions to the test site.
