Integrity
- The product manager needs to reflect the values of the company and the product.
- The interviewer must figure out how the candidate will fit into the company culture.
- The product manager does not directly manage the people on the product team.
- The product manager cannot dictate to people.
- The product manager must work by influencing those on the product team.
- Persuasion is done by mutual trust and respect.
- The product manager must be willing to trust those people to do their job.
- Evalutating a candidate's integrity is difficult.
- Ask the candidate how they dealt with stressful situations.
- Find out what made the situation stressful.
