SSL Directives

• The SSL module introduces many configuration directives.
  • They are normally used in conjunction with a port-based virtual host.
  • A minimal configuration is to define file locations and switch on SSL.

    AddType application/x-x509-ca-crt .crt
    AddType application/x-pkcs7-crt .crl
    <VirtualHost _default_:443>
    SSLEngine on
    SSLCertificateFile conf/server.crt
    SSLCertificateKeyFile conf/server.key
    ServerName secure.myco.com
    DocumentRoot /usr/apache/htdocs
    TransferLog logs/ssl_access_log
    </VirtualHost>
