This course is structured to run on-line or off-line. All the files needed to run the course are contained within the course.
Your computer needs to have a compatible version of MySQL in order to work on the many interactive exercises featured in this course.
This course is intended to run on Linux (or UNIX).
However, if Windows is your platform, substitute the references to
the file my.cnf with my.ini.
There is a set of review questions at the end of each chapter to help the student test their retention. A JavaScript enabled browser is required for the review questions to work properly.
There is also a detailed course outline to facilitate navigation through the course.
At the bottom of each Web page you will find buttons which you can click on. Clicking on these buttons will cause you to go to another Web page within the course. Here are the buttons and a description of where each one will take you.
