You can include audio files into your HTML document. Use the <A> tag to link to an audio file. Your audio file should be in a format compatible with most clients. The most popular formats are:

aifc
aiff
au
wav

Once you click on the hypertext, the audio file will be downloaded and played, if your computer supports the audio file format.
