Tag Attributes

A tag is also sometimes called an element. You may think of HTML elements as nouns or verbs within a language. Nouns have adjectives and verbs have adverbs.
I have a cat.
What kind of a cat?
A big cat.
What color is your big cat?
I have a big black cat.
In this example the noun is "cat" and it has two adjectives, "black" and "big". In HTML these adjectives are called attributes. So, HTML elements can have attributes, and we will see them in subsequent chapters.

I understand the concept of attributes. Explain to me the <HTML> tag.
